Neema Bayran, M.D.

Interventional Pain Management of the Pain Center of Illinois

Medical Director for Beautify at AMS

Dr. Bayran completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he did a Fellowship in interventional pain management.

Dr. Bayran main areas of interest are Lumbar and Thoracic Spine Disorders, Cervicogenic Headaches and CRPS.

Dr. Bayran is a board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Bayran is also a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and the American Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Bayran has also been certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine


Intesar Hussain, M.D.

Interventional Pain Specialists of the Pain Center of Illinois

A native of Chicago, Dr. Hussain completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago and his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Illinois School of Medicine.

Dr. Hussain completed a formal ACGME accredited Interventional Pain Management fellowship at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons / St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center. He completed his Anesthesiology training at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Hussain’s main clinical interests include chronic neck and back pain, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Dr. Intesar Hussain maintains an active membership in the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.


Allen Kao, M.D.

PM&R and Interventional Pain Management Physician of The Pain Center of Illinois

Dr. Kao graduated with Honors from the University of Chicago with bachelor’s degrees in biology and economics. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed an Internship at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL and a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Kao also completed an Interventional Pain Fellowship with Physicians for Rehabilitation, Industrial, & Spine Medicine (PRISM) in Harrisburg, PA. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
