Q: How long does the relief from injection procedures last?
A: The amount of relief each individual receives from the injections depends mostly on the underlying problem. Therefore, individual responses vary significantly.
Q: How many injections does it take to get relief?
A: Most injections are performed in a series of three, 2 weeks apart. However, patients are evaluated after the each injection to determine if they need to receive another injection.
Q: What should I do if I take blood thinners?
A: If you take blood thinner medications such as Coumadin, Plavix, Ticlid, etc., please let your physician know before scheduling your procedure for appropriate instructions regarding stopping the medication.
Q: What if the procedure doesn’t help?
A: If interventional techniques are not effective in treating your pain problem, various medical and surgical management options are available which may then be tried.
Q: Will I receive anesthesia for the procedure?
A: On an individual basis, we may recommend performing the procedure under anesthesia. In that case, an anesthesiologist will see you before the procedure and an IV (intravenous) access is established and you will receive medication through your IV.
Q: Will I be sent to Physical Therapy?
A: On an individual basis, we may recommend Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy plays an important part in the treatment of most of the painful conditions.
Q: Are any of your staff members bilingual?
A: We have clinical and administrative staff that is bilingual. They will be able to translate any information for you.
Many of your questions will be determined on an individual basis. Our outstanding staff has years of experience with pain management and will assist you in developing a pain treatment plan which will work best for you.

Q: What is the difference between a medical spa and a traditional day spa?
A: Traditional day spas offer relaxing, luxurious treatments that help you maintain healthy skin. In contrast, medical spa treatments actually provide medical benefits through the treatment of cosmetic problems like acne, aging skin, and rosacea.
Q: What can I expect when I come to your office for my first visit?
A: As a new patient you will complete two forms – a patient information form and a short medical history form. We will make a photocopy of your ID for your chart.
The treatment you are going to receive will be explained to you by our provider and you will sign a consent form prior to being treated.
If numbing is required, you will be asked to arrive prior to your scheduled time for your treatment to allow time for numbing appropriate to your specific treatment.
Q: How do I know which treatment is right for me?
A: If you are concerned about the health and/or appearance of your skin, it is best to schedule a consultation with our office to review your concerns and consider all your options prior to scheduling a treatment. We will help you choose a treatment or a combination of treatments that best suit your needs. Most treatments can be combined and performed on the same day.
Q: What conditions do your treatments address?
A: Our treatments alleviate a variety of conditions including scar and stretch mark reduction, acne, varicose and spider veins, aging and sagging skin, enlarged pores, and stretch mark reduction, Botox and fillers such as, Collagen, Juvederm and much more.
Q: What is Botox?
A: BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time. (www.botoxcosmetic.com/before_after.aspx
Q: What is Juvederm?
A: JUVÉDERM® XC is the smooth gel filler that your doctor uses to instantly smooth away wrinkles around your mouth and nose. With just one treatment, you’ll get smooth and natural-looking results that last up to a year.
Q: How long do your treatments take?
A: Typically, our treatment sessions last normally ½ to around an hour.
Q: Do you have financing options?
A: We offer a full range of payment plans, including extended cash payment plans for cosmetic procedures.
Q: What can I expect from the treatment experience at BEaUtify?
A: The environment of our Rejuvenation Center is relaxing. We do our best to keep you feeling pampered during treatment while enjoying all the real medical benefits.
Q: What are the benefits of non-surgical cosmetic treatments?
A: Non-surgical cosmetic treatments do not come with the same risks as surgery and have minimal side effects. Non-surgical cosmetic treatments have little to no pain and have little to no downtime. Additionally, they are more affordable than cosmetic surgical procedures.
Q: Are the results of non-surgical cosmetic treatments permanent?
A: The results of cosmetic treatments offered at BEaUtify can last anywhere from a couple of months to three years, depending on the type of treatment you get. Touch-ups may be required and is discussed with each patient.

A: We are located at 830 North Ashland (between Chicago and Augusta)
Q: Are all medical treatments and injections done in a medical office?
A: Yes. Our office is a medical office located in the Ashland Medical Specialists complex.
Q: Is numbing required for each treatment?
A: Numbing is not required; however, we do highly recommend numbing for mesotherapy, laser treatments and injectable filler treatments. Numbing times vary depending on the treatment. You will be advised on the time to be allotted for numbing at the time of scheduling your treatment.
